Corrosion Prevention Damage Restoration
If not avoided, corrosion starting on the surface of structural carrier elements after flood or fire may cause serious damage to the strength of the structural carrier elements in a long term. Corrosion (Fe²O³ [iron oxide)] on the surface of the building elements affects the entire material over the time and causes a decrease in the cross-sectional area (resistance loss).
With its special chemicals in the inventory and experience in the application, HGR purifies the corrosion. When performing this process, it is important that the correct chemical is applied at the right time and with the right method because different intervention method is applied for each structural element. After the purification of the corrosion on the building elements, the surface is protected against to the formation of oxidation by using surface protective chemicals which will prevent the contact of the material with oxygen.
